About C.R.E.A.T.E.
Who we are
C.R.E.A.T.E. (Community Resource Education and Training Enterprises) is a Minnesota 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving youth and families across Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and the greater Twin Cities. We were founded in 2026 on a simple belief: every young person deserves a safe place to learn, grow, and discover what they’re capable of, whatever their background, identity, or circumstances.
Our mission
C.R.E.A.T.E. empowers youth, families, and veterans across the Twin Cities through education, mentorship, and career training. Built on six pillars, from community connection and restorative health to apprenticeships and cultural heritage, we create safe spaces where every young person is welcome to learn, grow, and build a future they’re proud to be part of.
What we bring to youth and families
Our work is built around six pillars, one for each letter of our name:
C – Community Connection: Bringing neighbors, families, and local organizations together.
R – Restorative Health & Justice: Supporting healing, wellness, and second chances.
E – Education & Enrichment: After-school programs, tutoring, and activities that keep young minds engaged.
A – Apprenticeship & Career Access: Hands-on training in the trades and real pathways to good jobs.
T – Teamwork & Mentorship: Pairing youth with caring mentors, including veterans who bring experience and leadership.
E – Exchange: History & Heritage: Exploring culture and history to build understanding across communities.
Beyond programming, we’re working toward scholarships for the young people we serve. We also partner with local businesses and organizations to open doors to training and opportunity.
C.R.E.A.T.E. Build for yourself. For others. For community.
